In some way or another politics plays a role in your life. You may not deal with the issues of politics regularly, but politics in one form or another plays a part in what you do. These politics could be; whether or not your sector of work gets that raise or not, or if the city politics changes your parking requirements.
Knowing that politics is part of your day to day life, means that you should at least understand what it really is all about. Politics can be explained as a group of people that go through a process to get to a solution. This makes politics seem simple. However, the people involved in politics tend to make it very complicated when trying to get to a result. As a race we are not perfect, so the system of politics won’t be either. Many people don’t seem to understand that; and that politics is more about people trying to get their way, more so, than trying to go through a process to get to an end result.
Many argue that politics is a dirty business. In the USA, for example, the politics seems to have gone down the path of airing hatred and manipulation. Which leaves the citizens left out of politics. Their representatives that are elected by the people are more interested in getting personal points than trying to better their district or states.
The main part of politics is what is good. It should be more about the way in which the laws are created, than the way in which the individuals are judged by the people surrounding them.
If there was no politics then no one would know what should and shouldn’t be. However, there are some people that see politics as a way for them to get ahead or to get some extra power. In some ways because of these certain individuals is why politics is now seen to be an ugly business.
